Vincent G. Duffy, Ph.D.  (duffy@ie.msstate.edu)

Dr. Vincent G. Duffy, Associate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering, MSU.

Research interests in human aspects of advanced technologies with emphasis in the cognitive design of human-computer systems for automobile, aging, and virtual industrial safety training. Has done funded research on the development of methodologies for studying the impact of different virtual training parameters on perception and decision-making in virtual industrial environments. There are plans to continue this stream of research with many options available for the next domain of study. With regard to the transfer of virtual training, the research has applications in manufacturing, services and transportation.
